TAP study club creed

Commitment to Excellence

As a member of the TAP Study Club, I commit to the following principles, which form the foundation of our shared pursuit of mastery in airway management.

1. Commitment to Presence: The Attendance Standard

I recognize that consistent attendance is vital for the continuity of our discussions and the growth of the group.

I commit to attending a minimum of two (2) of the four (4) scheduled quarterly meetings. Should circumstances prevent my attendance, I will actively seek the materials and contribute to the follow-up discussion.

2. Commitment to Collaboration: The Spirit of Partnership

I will actively participate in discussions, respecting the diverse backgrounds and experiences of my fellow members.

I commit to sharing my knowledge and experience openly and to listening critically and constructively to the perspectives of others.

I understand that true learning occurs through partnership, and I will support the success of all members.

3. Commitment to Innovation: The Pursuit of New Ideas

I commit to continuously seeking out the latest research, techniques, and technologies in airway science.

I will bring forward relevant case studies, literature, challenges, or novel ideas for discussion at our meetings to push the boundaries of our current understanding and practice.

I will approach every challenge as an opportunity for innovative problem-solving, contributing fresh insights to the club.

By adhering to this Creed, we ensure the vitality, rigor, and continued educational excellence of the TAP Study Club.

To formalize the commitments laid out in the Creed, all members agree to the following terms:

Attendance Requirement: I confirm my commitment to attend at least 50% (2 of 4) of the scheduled quarterly meetings annually. Failure to meet this threshold will require a discussion with the TAP leadership regarding my active status. Only members who meet the attendance requirement will be eligible to be listed in the provider directory.

Contribution: I will actively participate at meetings by engaging in respectful conversation and I commit to bringing at least one (1) substantive idea, case review, article, or topic of practical interest for potential presentation or discussion per year.

Confidentiality: I agree to maintain the confidentiality of patient cases and proprietary information shared within the TAP study club.
